Hi there! I'm Meera, an aspiring machine learning researcher fascinated with how computers learn to emulate human behaviors in deeply non-human ways. If you're reading this before May of 2023, I'm a senior undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University studying statistics and machine learning. One day, I hope to be a college professor who contributes to our collective knowledge and spreads her fascination to new students. Some of my current topics of interest are speech synthesis, vocal conversion, manifold learning, and the impact of AI on society.
